Moreton Bay plays a big part in the city of Brisbane’s trade and recreation. The bay is home to some beautiful sand islands, all surrounded on the weekend by leisurely boating enthusiasts, anchored and enjoying the sun. Forests and lakes are dotted over the island, and make it a worthwhile visit – probably worth spending a few days away from Brisbane. The Gold Coast and The Sunshine Coast
