VEHICLE INSURANCE

All rental car quotes include basic vehicle insurance. The insurance "excess" or the amount payable by you in the event of an accident (also known as the deductable) will vary from vehicle to vehicle. Please click on the "Rate Details" link which appears underneath the rental price of each car type on your quote to obtain more information. If you do wish to reduce the insurance excess amount you can choose to do so at the time of vehicle pick-up.

Hidden Charges

There are many companies providing car hire booking services, however, you often receive only a basic quote.

Extra's such as Additional driver fee, Baby seat charge, Under 25 charge and Airport fee / Premium Location Surcharge are often left out of the quoted price.

Vehicle Insurance

All rental car quotes include basic insurance. An insurance excess amount of between $5500.00 and $2750.00 will apply in the event of an accident.

There are many insurance excess reduction packages available. The cost of these excess reduction packages is dependent upon vehicle type and provider and prices vary between $14.00 per day to $28.00 per day.
